Translation services

In response to customer requests, AJE is expanding our services to include translation. You can write more freely and save time by writing in your native language and letting AJE translate your paper into English. With the AJE translation service, your paper will be reviewed by two translators to ensure quality and accurate translation of your research. We also offer a lower cost single-translator option (basic translation) for those authors who are looking to save time by having their work translated, but are comfortable double-checking the translated paper themselves to ensure the translator has interpreted their intended meaning correctly. After your paper is translated, it will be proofread for English language quality by an expert editor in your field of study. Finally, your paper will be reviewed by an experienced managing editor to further polish the language, meaning that your paper is returned to you in publication-quality English.

3. Who will be translating my document?

   Each of our translators:

   • has conducted research and published their results in both the language to be translated and English in their respective field
   • has been extensively evaluated for accuracy in their translation work
   • has signed a strict confidentiality agreement to keep your unpublished research completely safe. Learn more about our safety and security procedures.

4. How do I submit a document?

   To submit a document, click on 'New Submission' and select 'Translation' under the service menu. Follow the steps to upload your document, complete the submission requirements, and make your payment.

5. Do you guarantee your work?

   We stand behind the quality of both our translation and our editing. We have stringent quality control processes in place to ensure that your work is translated accurately. However, due to differences in language conventions, some interpretation is necessary in the translation process. As such, if you feel that we have misinterpreted any portion of your paper, we are happy to work with you to fix the situation and generate an accurate translation as quickly as possible.

6. What file types do you accept?

   We accept files in most electronic formats (docx, doc, rtf, txt, pdf, etc), however, translated and edited documents will be returned as Microsoft Word documents.
